Rachael Bosma

Dr. Rachael Bosma is a pain scientist and research leader with extensive experience leading interdisciplinary collaborations and driving knowledge translation across healthcare and academic settings. As Director of the University of Toronto Centre for the Study of Pain, she advances innovative strategies for perioperative pain management and opioid harm reduction. In her role within the clinical portfolio at Women’s College Hospital, Dr. Bosma embeds research and program evaluation to inform clinical practice and support health systems–level decision-making. Her leadership ensures this project is guided by rigorous science, inclusivity, and best practices for implementation.
